The Bate Bay consists of 10km ski (Not for Youth), 2km swim, 4km board, 3km run. The following individual and team categories will be contested;
o U15 individual $30 & team $80 (U14 & U15 Youth – no separate U14 event)
o U17 individual $100 & team $200
o U19 individual $100 & team $200
o Open individual $100 & team $200
o Elite individual $200 (U17 and over only as has ski leg)
o Masters (35+) individual $100 & team $200
A team can be mixed, male or female and has a minimum of 2 people and maximum of 4 people. Coaches have requested kids sort out own teams if not doing individual. All individuals and teams must have at least one handler. It is compulsory for each competitor to have a board paddler (handler) with them for the swim leg component of the course. This board paddler must, as a minimum, hold a Surf Rescue Certificate and be proficient and they need to be added in the comments section of the survey as need to be entered on the entry system also.
For team entries and payment please nominate one person to pay and complete the survey for the Team and sort out split payments between yourselves as too difficult on our system.
Entries will close on the 12th November for North Curl Curl to allow time to get everything on the entry system before close. There are no late entries and as always competitors 16 and over must be able to show proof of vaccination.
